FAQ
Answers that reduce anxiety—not filler.
Practical questions patients ask before they book. If your question is medical and specific, it belongs in consultation.
Consultations
What happens in a first consultation?+
We take a structured history, examine your skin or scalp concern, and explain realistic options—including what to defer or avoid. You leave with a clearer plan, not pressure.
Do I need to bring anything?+
Bring a list of medications and allergies, prior treatment names if known, and photos of flares if helpful. Avoid heavy makeup if the face will be examined.
Is there a fee for consultation?+
Fees depend on appointment type and provider—confirm when booking. We aim for transparent pricing at scheduling.
Treatment suitability
Why might a treatment be declined?+
Safety comes first. Active infection, unstable disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding for certain procedures, unrealistic goals, or recent sun exposure can mean postponing or choosing an alternative.
Can I start on the same day as consultation?+
Sometimes, for minor procedures when suitability is clear. Often we prefer a cooling-off window for higher-impact treatments so consent is fully informed.
Sessions & courses
How many sessions will I need?+
It depends on diagnosis and modality. Hair reduction, scar improvement, and pigment control are course-based. We give a range, not a guarantee, and review progress at checkpoints.
What if I miss an interval?+
Most protocols tolerate small delays. Very long gaps may mean extending a course or adjusting settings—discussed at your next visit.
Downtime & recovery
Will I need time off work?+
Many treatments have minimal downtime; deeper peels, lasers, and some surgical steps need a clearer social recovery window. You receive written guidance per procedure.
When can I exercise?+
Depends on treatment. Heat, sweat, and friction matter after lasers, peels, and surgery—we provide a timeline tailored to your procedure.
Safety & discretion
How is sterility maintained?+
Procedures use appropriate aseptic technique, single-use materials where indicated, and clinical protocols aligned with the treatment risk level.
Is my information kept private?+
We treat clinical information with discretion. If you have specific privacy needs, mention them at booking so we can accommodate.
Sensitive & reactive skin
I react to everything—can I still be treated?+
Often yes, but sequencing matters. We may stabilise your barrier before peels or lasers, and patch-test when uncertainty remains.
Can I use retinoids before procedures?+
Sometimes you will be asked to pause retinoids before chemical peels or certain lasers to reduce irritation risk—follow the plan given for your procedure.
Combining treatments
Can procedures be done together?+
Some pair well; others need spacing to reduce side effects or unpredictable pigmentation. We map combinations rather than stacking aggressively in one visit.
Botox and fillers on the same day?+
Often possible with careful planning of zones and order. Your provider advises based on anatomy and swelling risk.
Hair restoration
Am I too young for hair transplant?+
Age matters less than pattern stability and expectations. Younger patients may need medical stabilisation first and conservative hairline planning.
Does PRP replace transplant?+
No. PRP may support some patterns adjunctively; it does not recreate hairlines in advanced loss with poor donor supply.
Realistic outcomes
Do you show before-and-after imagery?+
Where available, photography may be reviewed in clinic with context. We avoid sensational galleries that imply guaranteed results.
Why avoid ‘guaranteed’ language?+
Skin and hair respond individually. Ethical care means discussing probabilities, limits, and maintenance—this builds trust more than hype.
Appointments
How do I reschedule?+
Contact the clinic with notice as early as possible. Late cancellations may incur fees depending on policy—ask at booking.
Do you offer WhatsApp coordination?+
Yes—use the WhatsApp pathway on our contact page for scheduling questions. Medical advice is still conducted in proper consultation.
